Memory Care
We offer a range of services, dependent upon the severity of a person’s symptoms. In general, caregivers assist residents more often with ADLs or Activities of Daily Living. These activities are redesigned to increase resident response and reconnection to their past or present interests. Activities of daily living can include:
- Eating
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Medication management
Grand Oaks of Palm City and Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach set in place additional security features and measures to keep our residents safe. Residents are also provided with consistent schedules and assigned caregivers in order to create as stable and stress-free an environment as possible.
Other memory care centers may differ, but here at Grand Oaks of Palm City and Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach, we guarantee that all of our Care Center staff members are certified in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD), Level 1 and Level 2. In addition, we run thorough local, state, federal and level 2 background checks and drug screenings on all staff members.

Charitable Work to Communities Most in Need
Our Visiting Nurse Foundation has provided more than $1.5 million in free, lifesaving healthcare to people in need.
Our 38-foot-long mobile medical clinic, the Florence Nightingale Express, travels our 13-county service area providing essential exams, tests, vaccinations and treatments to indigent and uninsured at no cost.
If you are familiar with the Visiting Nurse Association of Florida, you might already know about the home healthcare services we’ve been providing for nearly 40 years. But there are some things you may not know about us, such as our Foundation that provides healthcare to people in the community who are contending with hard times, unemployment, even homelessness.
